A practical place to start

Start with the inbox or the spreadsheet you dread.

If your day runs on Microsoft 365, Copilot is often the most natural place to start, because it sits inside the apps you open every morning. We check which version you have, the free Copilot app or Copilot in a Microsoft 365 subscription or work account, and build the session around what it can actually do on your setup.

We work with executives, business owners, parents, retirees, and curious beginners. You can focus on Microsoft Copilot, or just ask us to help work out whether ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, or Gemini fits your task.

What we can work on

Real tasks. A repeatable approach.

01

Catch up on a long email thread

Use Copilot in Outlook to summarize a thread you were copied on, pull out who is waiting on you, and draft a reply. Then edit the draft so it says exactly what you mean before you send it.

02

Get a first draft in Word

Turn notes into a letter, proposal, or policy draft, then ask Copilot to adjust the tone or tighten a section. You stay the author; Copilot gets you past the blank page.

03

Ask questions of a spreadsheet

Ask Copilot in Excel to explain what a budget or sales sheet shows, spot trends, or suggest a chart. Check the numbers it highlights against the sheet itself before you rely on them.

Try it yourself

Try this on an email thread you were copied on

A practice example you can adapt before we meet.

Summarize this email thread in five bullet points. Then list anything someone is waiting on me for, with who asked and by when. Do not guess at dates or commitments that are not written in the thread.

Open the original emails and check each item on the list. If Copilot missed something, tell it what it missed and ask again. That habit of checking is what makes the summary safe to act on.

Before you start

Your Microsoft Copilot training questions.

What is the difference between free Copilot and Copilot in Microsoft 365?

The free Microsoft Copilot app is a chat assistant on the web, Windows, Mac, and phones. Copilot in Microsoft 365 works inside Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and comes with an eligible Microsoft 365 subscription or work plan. The Orlando AI Guys start your session by checking which one you have.

Can you train me on Copilot for my work account?

Yes. The Orlando AI Guys can coach you on Copilot in a work or school Microsoft 365 account. Your employer controls some settings and data rules on that account, so we work within them and never ask you to change company settings.

Can I turn off Copilot training on my conversations?

Yes. In the Copilot app, Microsoft puts privacy controls in your profile settings, including a switch for training on your conversations. During setup, The Orlando AI Guys go through those controls with you on your own screen.
